So it has now been two years since the rush to hospital, the diagnosis and the long wait. Time has done its healing and Tom has done some growing and recovering. He is in a wonderful place now.
A year ago I put together a montage of video clips and photos to show that progress and posted it here. There is now a sequel. It isn't quite as poignant a journey - its my opportunity to be super-indulgent dad.

That is a wonderful collage!
I particularly love the slide scene, where you say "I'm bound to be kicked out of the Cochlear Implant Parents' Group at this rate.." for letting him go down the slide with his equipment on.
I had similar thoughts as I video taped Erin doing the very same thing this evening. ;)

This is fantastic, Tom and I think you are fantastic too. Just the fact that you found time to do this when you are work and all the other things you do for us.
